Timothy P. Robbins, Founding crash reconstructionist, ACTAR #1445, M-CRASH Group LLC

Timothy P. Robbins is the founding crash reconstructionist for M-CRASH Group LLC. He graduated from Lake Superior State University with a B.S. Degree in Criminal Justice - Public Safety. He began his career in emergency services in 1989 in the field of Emergency Medical Services. He started his career as a police officer in 1995 where he was employed with the Alpena County Sheriff’s office. In 1997, Tim began his employment with the Michigan State Police. In 2012 he vested his retirement and began working for M-CRASH Group LLC and for the Arenac County Sheriff’s office. Tim is a certified police officer, licensed paramedic, and an ACTAR accredited reconstruction expert. He has worked over 3000 crashes and testified as an expert well over 200 times throughout Michigan and in Federal District Court. Tim teaches at Delta College Police Academy and has traveled throughout the country educating police officers and engineers in documenting crash & crime scenes using total stations, photogrammetry, and CAD.

Dr. Travis L. Robbins, DPT, OCS

Dr. Robbins is a retired US Army doctor of physical therapy and experienced neuromusculoskeletal clinician since 2007 with experience in biomechanical assessment, neuromusculoskeletal injury management, injury prevention, human performance optimization, and kinesiological education.  As a military trained, board-certified, orthopedic Doctor of Physical Therapy, Dr. Robbins possesses over 15,000 hours of clinical experience with an extensive background in dynamic injury analysis (Infantry, Armor, and Airborne unit training), bone stress injury diagnosis and management, treatment of chronic conditions and injuries, and disease processes as they relate to neuromusculoskeletal conditions.  He has performed duties as military medical officer for large units treating thousands of Soldiers, dependents, and retirees over his 20-year career. Professionally, he has acted as a subject-matter expert in several multidisciplinary care teams to include: bone stress injury analysis and prevention working group (Fort Jackson, SC), Neuromusculoskeletal Injury Prevention Initiative (Fort Benning, GA), and Non-pharmacological Pain Management Working Group (Benning-Martin Army Community Hospital, Fort Benning, GA). Dr. Robbins has worked as a consulting expert with M-CRASH Group LLC since 2008.
